Pac-Man Candy Pac-Man Candy

Paku paku paku Ready to feel old? Pac-Man was born in 1980 (in Japan, released a year later in North America). Pac-Man - that little, yellow, disc-dude of our youth is almost 30 years old. Dang, where does the time go? But we loved the little chomper - heck we even loved his ghostie adversaries. And many a dinner, the only way we could be coaxed into eating our peas was to be told they were power pellets. Well, time to bring Pac-Man back into your life with Pac-Man Candy! Pac-Man Candy actually has a few different styles and flavors. You can either get Pac-Man, Blinky, or both. Pac-Man is full of orange-flavored power pellets, while Blinky is full of sour cherry ghost candies. But here's the catch: you will never be sure how much of a power up you have left when you order the Ghosts. What does that mean? You have a random chance of getting a "frightened ghost" which is blue and full of blue raspberry delights. It's all part of the fun magic of Pac-Man, and part of the deliciousness of Pac-Man Candy. Pac-Man HotHead Potholder

Pac-Man HotHead Potholder

Wokka wokka wokka HOT PLATE wokka wokka wokka The concept behind this product is simple: You've got a hot pan, pot, or casserole dish. You need to protect your hands while handling said cooking implement. The first thing that comes to your head is Pac-man. The question remains - is this a universal truth or is it just us old-skool gamer geeks? Recently, caves in Northern France were discovered with Pleistocene-era art on the stone walls. One drawing clearly shows early humans with the spoils of their hunt on the fire, and holding a still-smoking joint is a young hunter with a round yellow oven-mitt... an astounding event in archaeology. Even more astounding was the uncovering of a Second-dynasty Egyptian ruler, possibly Raneb or Nynetjer, surrounded by his entombed house-staff. One preserved mummy had, included in his wrappings, a rubbery yellow glove and a recipe for antelope cheesesteaks. True story! We've refined the Pac-man oven mitt with modern styling and materials. 100% food-safe silicon rubber resists temperatures up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and fits your hand like a puppet. Inside his mouth is a game-accurate representation of the classic Pac-man maze. After so many years of gobbling ghosts and power pellets, your hot pots and pans are no problem!

Ice Invaders Icecube Tray

Ice Invaders Icecube Tray

High Score in your Highball! It was 30 years ago when the first Japanese geek shouted "¹Úü¹¤óÙüÀü!!"and dutifully dropped 100 yen coins into that stand-up video game cabinet. Though only green and black, 2 dimensional, and lacked any breast-physics at all, Taito's Space Invaders was still one of the most successful video games ever. Why, you ask? Perhaps because it was one of the first mass-produced and distributed videogames in history, or maybe because the ominous thump of the slowly descending aliens added to the already burgeoning cultural angst growing in the late 70's or the early 80's, or perhaps this was early covertly-funded mass-training of a citizen-run alien-invasion repulsion-force? ...or was that the premise to "The Last Starfighter?" I forget. Either way, if you've read this far, you're a Space Invaders fan, and will want to buy this food-grade silicon ice-cube mold! Make your own little invaders, and drop them in your drinks. What more needs to be said?

Space Invaders Cutting Boards

Space Invaders Cutting Boards

Fuses Your Love of VideoGames and Cooking ThinkGeek loves a good FPS, and has even known to carry a few level 70 alts from time to time. But, really? We totally dig the old school. Back when a videogame was something you drove to - pumped quarters in. When you got there, the thrum of the machines sent a tingle down your spine. Your heart raced when you heard the incessant drumbeat of the Invader's attack. WHUMP-WHUMP-whump-whump, they marched, downwards - ever downwards, towards your mobile artillery cannon. You fired and fired, and blasted them from the sky, but the more you shot down, the faster they came! This was the golden age of videogames. Back then, a meal was a cola slushy and a hotpocket. Now, you're all grown up. You've traded in your pocketfull of quarters for a console, but you never forgot your roots. Pay homage to those days of yore when Italian plumbers battled giant apes and pie-chart-graphs ate ghosts. It's time to decorate in video-game style. This cutting board is hand-made in the U.S.A. Each cube of walnut and hard-maple lovingly glued to its brothers, then sanded and polished to a shiny finish. Because they're made by hand, there's an extremely limited supply, so make sure you get one before they're all gone!

Retro Mini X Handheld NES System

Retro Mini X Handheld NES System

Classic NES, Now With Light Gun Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably noticed the proliferation of handheld retro gaming systems sprouting here at ThinkGeek. Now the Retro Mini X adds a critical new feature to your classic gaming arsenal... The classic NES Zapper! Yep, in addition to handheld mode, you can connect this mini game system to a TV and play 8-bit favorites like Duck Hunt using the included wireless Zapper replica. You also get two wireless remotes for kicking your friend's butt at Mario Bros. Jack in an original NES cart and you're ready to play. Important Note The Retro Mini X does not come with any games. You'll need to find your own cartridges or buy some on eBay. Also old NES cartridges will probably have cruddy contacts. Remember that the cartridges are very finicky if not cleaned properly. Make sure you clean the contacts on your cartridges or they may not work properly in the Retro Mini. Limitations of the Light Gun Zapper The Zapper only works with NES games that support it... duh. Also, you can't use the Zapper with the built in LCD screen, it only works when the system is connected to a TV. Also the TV has to be a CRT type for the gun to register properly. An LCD, Plasma, or in general any flatscreen WILL NOT WORK with the gun. You can play other games, but not light gun games. You've got to go with the old style tube baby!

GP2X Wiz MAME/Amiga/Console Emulator

GP2X Wiz MAME/Amiga/Console Emulator

Retro Gaming Emulation Juggernaut Normally this is the space where we would make some clever jokes and tell you why you might like to purchase this fine product. But in the case of this amazing GP2X Wiz pocket size gaming system we're cutting straight to the chase. If you are into retro gaming and have paid your rent this month you NEED to buy the GP2X Wiz now... like immediately... we're not joking. Because no where else will you find a handheld gaming system with emulators for so many game systems, computer platforms and consoles. Incredible MAME emulation allows you to run all your favorite arcade video game classics, even vector games. Amiga game emulation is rock solid. You can run Atari ST games, Commodore 64, NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, NeoGeo, Flash Games and more too numerous to mention. Of course you'll need to find yourself some game roms... but we have a feeling that's no problem for you and Google. The Wiz can do a host of other useful things besides gaming. It can play video files including MPEG4, Xvid and DIVX. You get a built in e-book reader, calendar, voice recorder... etc... you know the drill. 1GB of storage is built-in and you can expand on this with the SD (SDHC) card slot. The high-res touchscreen makes navigation easy and the gaming controls feature a d-pad on the left with buttons/d-pad on the right and two shoulder buttons on the top. It's plenty good for anything a retro game can dish out. There is an active development community for the GP2X Wiz and with a respectable ARM9 533MHz Processor overclockable to 800Mhz you've got plenty of power to play with if you're interested to write your own applications. Important Note The Wiz does not come with any emulator software or game roms pre-installed. Out of the box you can play some built in Flash games, but that's it. You'll need to download the freeware emulator for the console or computer system you want to emulate. Then you'll need to unzip the emulator software, and copy it to an SD card along with some game roms you've downloaded. Then start-up the Wiz, go into the "launcher" option and run the emulator. Inside the emulator you'll choose the rom you want to load and then the game can begin. Each emulator software interface is a bit different and most give you the option to overclock the Wiz to get the best performance. Remember you are running emulator software... most games work perfectly, but some may run slow or be glitchy. You may have to configure the controls to work well with the game you want to play. Documentation is not always the best, so you might need to put in a bit of effort to figure things out. If any of this scares you, then you may want to reconsider your purchase. Here is a great site where you can download all the emulators available for the Wiz as well as other homebrew software. Please take a look at this before you buy. http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/wiz.cgi

Basement Arcade Reproduction items and Upgrades

Earthshaker Pinball Moving Earthshaker Institute Kit

The Earthshaker pinball machine has playfield toy named Earthshaker Institute. In around 100 sample machines, this building sunk into the playfield when balls were locked or in mufti ball modes.

All Earthshaker machines, regardless of ROM revision, have the software necessary to control the sinking building feature. Unfortunately, due to cost overruns, the motor and all associated wiring and mechanics was left out in all but these few prototypes, and the toy was banished to be bolted on the playfield forever.....

Well, NO MORE! Using my kit now available, You too can have the same "Sinking Feeling" offered in the first prototype machine!

$275

for the full plug and play unit

SOLD OUT!

Atari Gimbal Joystick Repair for Food Fight and Red Baron (Atari part # 036957-01)

Atari incorporated a gimbal joystick in both Food Fight and Red Baron. Although this joystick as proven very robust, age has taken it toll on the plastic connection from the stick to the potentiometer and they always break. Our aluminum replacement resolves broken sticks and insures no more failures

$17 a pair, shipping included

Dr. Who Pinball Dalek Wobble Head Kit

The Doctor Who pinball machine has a Dalek head on top of the backbox. In under 100 prototypes, this head contains a motor to allow for the head to swivel from left to right in coordination with the speech.

All Doctor Who pinball machines have the software necessary to control the Dalek head. Unfortunately, apparently due to cost overruns, the motor and all associated wiring was left out in all but these few prototypes. In all non-prototype machines, the top of the head is simply glued to the bottom and a flasher is the only thing mounted inside the head.

Well, NO MORE! Using my kit now available, You too can have the same Dalek head movement offered in the first prototype machine!

$300

for the full plug and play unit
